About SentinelID
SentinelID builds reputation infrastructure for the gaming industry. Our flagship product, the SentinelID MK1, is a sealed USB module about the size of a thumb drive — not a new PC, not a console — sold directly to players. It connects them to the Sentinel Trust Network — a shared reputation layer that game publishers integrate to offer Trust Play lobbies and protect competitive play.
Cheating is cheap when bans are free. Account bans are bypassed in minutes. IP bans are bypassed with a VPN. He pays $30 and he is back in the lobby ten minutes later — that is the whole problem, and no software has ever solved it. We believe the only effective deterrent is one with real cost: financial and reputational. The SentinelID MK1 creates both.
Our Mission
To make cheating expensive enough that it stops being worth it — by anchoring player reputation to hardware that carries its history across every game in the network, so that a lobby can be a room everyone had to clear the same bar to enter.
How It Works
There are two sides to the Sentinel Trust Network:
- Players get the SentinelID MK1 from this website and plug it into the PC they already own. No account or software needed — it works with any supported game automatically, and setup takes about ninety seconds, once. Their reputation is tied to the hardware and grows across every game on the network.
- Publishers integrate the Sentinel Trust Network API into their games. On each session start, they check the MK1's reputation and decide whether to grant access to Trust Play lobbies based on their configured threshold. Publishers manage this through the publisher dashboard and API — players never interact with either.
Pricing & Infrastructure
The $300 one-time price covers the MK1 itself, the server infrastructure required to run the reputation network, and ongoing development and maintenance. It also has to cost more than a new account: $30 buys him back into your lobby, so $300 is the cover charge for a room he is not willing to pay to enter. There is no monthly subscription fee. We are committed to keeping it that way — though this is subject to change as the network grows.
