This Privacy Policy explains how C Squared Solutions LLC, doing business as SentinelID ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you buy and use the SentinelID identity and trust Service. SentinelID is an identity product, so this policy gives particular attention to the identity and reputation data we handle.
1. Information We Collect
Account & contact information. Email address and any account details you provide.
Order information. Products purchased, quantities, totals, and shipping details for hardware orders.
Device identity data. A cryptographic public key and device identifier provisioned to your SentinelID device at manufacture, and the association between that device and your account. The device key is permanent and is not rotated.
Verification & attestation data. When you verify on a participating game server, we process records such as the time of verification, the server or game involved, the verification result (pass/fail), and technical metadata such as the IP address used at the time of verification.
Reputation & enforcement data. A persistent record tied to your identity that may include trust/reputation status, bans, suspensions, ban-evasion flags, and repeat-offender status reported by participating operators.
Usage data. Standard web analytics (pages visited, browser type, referring URL) collected via cookies.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
- No biometrics. SentinelID identity is anchored in hardware cryptography, not fingerprints, facial data, or any other biometric identifier.
- No in-game surveillance. The device and Service do not read your game content, voice or text chat, files, screen, or other applications. The device participates only in the verification exchange.
- We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Fulfill orders and provision and operate your device.
- Perform identity verification and produce trust/reputation signals.
- Detect and prevent ban evasion, fraud, abuse, and multi-accounting.
- Send order confirmations, service notices, and support.
- Improve and secure the Service and comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
Sharing verification and reputation signals with participating operators is core to how the Service works. When you verify on a participating game server, we share a verification result and associated trust signals (which may include ban and ban-evasion status) with that server, its operator, the relevant tournament organizer, and/or the game publisher. We share only what is needed to convey trust status — not your order or payment details.
We also share information with:
- Payment processors — Stripe and PayPal, under their own policies (Stripe, PayPal).
- Service providers — hosting, email, and analytics vendors acting on our instructions.
- Legal & safety — where required by law or to protect the integrity of the network.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data Retention
We retain order and account data for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal requirements. Because the Service exists to prevent ban evasion and repeat abuse, certain reputation and enforcement records (such as ban and ban-evasion history) may be retained even after you close your account, as is necessary for our and participating operators' legitimate interest in fraud and abuse prevention. We retain the minimum needed for that purpose.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@sentinel-id.com. Note that, as described in Section 5, we may decline deletion of specific fraud- and evasion-prevention records where retention is permitted by law, since deleting them would defeat the purpose of the Service.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
8. International Transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain cart and session state, and may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the revised version here with an updated date.
