Quick start
Up and running in under two minutes.
Download and install
Download the companion app for your game and run the installer. No admin privileges required.
Plug in your SentinelID MK1
Connect your SentinelID MK1 to any USB port. The companion app detects it automatically.
Make sure Steam is running
The companion detects your Steam ID from the running Steam client. Just have it open in the background.
Select your server
Browse the list of SentinelID-protected servers or enter server details manually. Your choice is saved.
Authenticate
Click Authenticate. Your MK1 signs a cryptographic proof, the server verifies it, and your Steam ID gets whitelisted.
Join and play
You’re whitelisted. Join the server in-game. The companion stays in your system tray and auto-reauthenticates when your session expires.

When your session expires, the companion automatically re-authenticates with your MK1. No manual clicks needed.
System tray
Runs quietly in your taskbar. Green means authenticated, red means expired. Close the window and it keeps running.

Browse approved SentinelID-protected servers from a dropdown. No need to manually enter server details.
Whitelist enforcement
Your Steam ID is added to the server whitelist on auth and removed when it expires. Only verified players can join.
